Fire Truck! Fire Man! Fire Woman! and……

Today for the first time Luca took a bath in the big bathtub all by himself (with his duckies and froggies, of course). He was in Chengcheng heaven. And his little friends are all ready to join him for tomorrow night’s bath!

He saw the ball, wanted it, went for it, and got it!

This weekend, Luca went on his first camping trip with Baba and Mama, to celebrate Father’s Day. We went to Russian Gulch State Park in Mendocino, along the coast in wine and redwood country.

Last night at 3 am Mama went in to feed Luca, and he was sitting up in his crib! We’ve never seen him go from lying down to sitting, but apparently this is his newest trick.

This evening while Luca slept, Sophie and Xiao had their first cook-out in our back garden. While the fish was grilling, we climbed up on the garage roof and admired the view. Thanks for the grill, Toby!

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Chengcheng tasted rice cereal for the very first time! He loved it and kept asking for more. Last night, Baba slept in Chengcheng’s room so that Mama could get a full night’s sleep.
