After waking up from his nap the other day, Luca decided he wanted to read to DooDah – first the Little Engine That Could (“Guca read blue oo-oo DooDah”) and then Cars and Trucks and Things that Go (“Guca read volvo DooDah”).

This afternoon Luca practiced his artistic technique in the garden with Mama.

This morning, Luca and Baba and Mama went to the Little Farm with Luca’s friend Rudy and his parents. Luca talked a lot about Ow and OMama and OBaba while we were there and brought his John Deere just in case he was called on to do some farm chores during our visit.

Luca has been learning about dichotomies. Recently, whenever he is asked to do something he doesn’t like, he immediately divides the world into good and bad and chooses sides.
