On Friday Luca had his last day after a year and a half at Happy Garden Childcare. It was a sad day and Luca will miss Laoshi, Angie Ayi, Zhang Ayi, Sarah Jiejie and all his friends there. Except Kai, of course, who is going with his to his brand new school on Monday.

Luca, everyone loves you so much at Happy Garden and you love everyone there too so they will miss you so much! It was a happy garden place and I will always remember the delicious figs you brought home to eat. It could also be called Happy Family School becasue it was such a warm loving and interesting first school t9ime for you. Tomorrow you go off to your new school with your new lunchbox and we cannot wait to hear all about it. love, granny
