And this reminded Mama of another Lucaism from the other day: After going into his room to choose one of his “big boy books” (ie one with few pictures, given to him several years in advance by Uncle Mark), Luca said he was going to read on the couch. Then he said, “‘Cuz when big people read, they just look at the pictures, right?” When I replied that no, we actually read, he said, “But how come I can’t hear you?”

  2. How I love the world you live in,Luca!..and you and your Mama are 41 and a million high becasue you look the same..and what a funny clown your Mama can be and of course you do not know what “cartoon character” means becasue you do not get to watch anything!…Now tonight when I look at Grampy reading his book I will know that he is really looking at the pictures because I will not hear anything!Actually, Luca..Grampy looks at those pictures in books quite a lot!.. Thank you for your great answers. love, granny
