This morning Lulu was meowing really loudly as Luca woke up. When he heard it, Luca said “Peacock!” because she sounded just like the peacocks that woke him up at Bagar. And now when he plays with his trucks, his favorite game is to make one truck pass the other on the right, very fast, while screaming “Beep beep!”
Yesterday he and Mama recreated an Indian street. Notice the cow blocking traffic, the Delhi tuk tuk, and the truck going the wrong way down a one way street. Luca pointed out that in fact the biggest truck should be “die dao” (overturned). But then he looked at the scene and said, “Uh-oh, no camel stop stoplight.”
Wow! Luca, you noticed EVERYTHING! But that can’t be a John Deere tuk-tuk, can it?
Love, Apa
No, Grampy, that’s a Delhi Clean Natural Gas tuk-tuk! (just tastefully done in John Deere colors)
Your street scene is fantastic and I especially like the scooter rickshaw!—and the cows of course——When you drove to the Berkeley Bowl did you wonder where the elephants were and the monkeys too?—How does Lulu know ot make a peacock sound? Love, Ani
