This morning Uncles Mark and Dug came over to help us plant the new lemon tree that they bought for us. First, we had to uproot the Lucaberry that was growing in the pot.
You are the best plant ever, Luca!—I wish we had some of those Lucaberries here!—and you are standing up so well and straight in the big pot!—Will your mama plant something new in the big pot?—and your Lemon Tree will grow to welcome everyone who comes to visit you!—–Is it a Meyer Lemon?—We cannot wait to see it “in plant” when we come to see you!
But the Lucaberry is such a great plant that we hope you have it safely planted somewhere else! (Or send it here if it is not needed there!)
