Luca’s first philosophical conversation with Granny

After falling a sleep on stomach first time last night, and sleeping late (until 8:00 am) first time this morning, Luca felt not only physically energetic but also intellectually charged. So he commented, via Mama, on Granny’s latest blog post “Attachments” on Meadows End.

Hi Granny- I have a lot of socks too. I have star socks and car socks and striped socks. Most of the time they attach Lulu’s hair, and Baba’s and Mama’s hair too. And a lot of times after they go through the wash, the socks detach themselves from each other and I end up with only one! What does that mean, Granny? I know lots about socks and attachment, Granny. I’m not so good with detachment yet, but I’m still little. We can videoconference about this later. Or we can discuss through our blogs. I’ll cross post this on my blog as well.

So the conversation continues.

  1. Little Luca, I am getting dizzy with all this cross-blogging!—clicking here and clicking there—So I will have to keep on my toes to keep up—and of course, on those toes are my socks—so we are back to the beginning of the question—— and certainly the answers only lead to more questions which is a good thing—-and actually makes me think that there is no such thing as” detachment” but only just “moving on”—–Congratulations on your sleeping a little bit more, Luca–Maybe your bouncer toy is making you tired—or maybe it is all this thinking about things that you are doing! Sleep well and happily!
