On Tuesday we took a big trip into San Francisco to accompany Baba at his ceremony to join us as an American citizen. We got up early, took BART, and then a cable car, to the Masonic Temple. There Luca and Mama sat upstairs to watch while Baba sat below with the 1400 other new citizens and took his oath of citizenship. When the new citizens from China stood up, everyone cheered because there were so many of them.
We then went to have lunch in the Ferry Building, took a brief walk in the sunshine, and then got on BART to go home. Luca had a great time and was very well-behaved the whole time!
What a wonderful adventure you had, Luca! So many new experiences—and Congratulations to Baba too! And your mama’s photographs are great!–you three certainly have fun together!
